Bikes Removal at Wellington Park, are we kidding?

    A M.·08 Jul 2026 · 1 reply

I've just checked, and my fully tagged bike has been marked for destruction. I also walked around the bike storage and found several other bikes that were clearly tagged and identifiable, yet they had also been labelled for removal. How is this happening? Are we seriously marking properly registered bikes for destruction?

They tried the same thing in Cadet House a few months ago. They gave residents 4 weeks to get their bikes tagged or have them removed. Then, 2 weeks after their deadline, they re-tagged all the bikes with a new piece of paper saying 'actually there is enough space, so we're not destroying any bikes.' They also put a piece of paper on my properly tagged bike saying it was earmarked for destruction - I just wrote a note on their piece of paper saying "check again" with an arrow pointing to the sticker. A complete joke! What a waste of paper, plastic, and human effort (all at service charge payers' expense, of course). I have made my feelings known to those on reception in Concierge.

I bet it cost us a ton of money from our service charges.
